I'm now on my fourth or fifth batch of making her flour AND I've made this biscuit recipe several times. As a northerner I was especially gratified that my Savannah in-laws quite liked them. I did a thing today though, and added 1 tablespoon of Buttermilk Flour to the recipe, just because I have it and am looking for ways to use it. Oh my word...it lifted it to new heights, with an even lighter, more authentic biscuit taste. Try it if you have buttermilk powder to use up. You'll be glad that you did. I tried these and again my chips in my home bend and do not firm a good crisp CAN IT BE THE HUMIDITY? Happens to my almond crackers Happens with 1-ingredient med cheddar baked chips as well. am I doomed? I live in S. CA where it’s gloomy a lot it’s called June gloom :-(
